WOF (Warrant of Fitness)
WOF inspections at EV Autos are carried out in full compliance with NZTA requirements. If your vehicle does not pass its WOF, you have up to 28 days to complete the necessary repairs and return for a recheck at no additional cost. In many cases, we can complete the required repairs on the same day as your WOF inspection to help get your vehicle road legal and back on the road as quickly as possible. Our team will always discuss any repairs or maintenance needed before proceeding, ensuring you stay fully informed and in control.
Servicing (Petrol, Diesel, Hybrid & Electric)
At EV Autos, we provide comprehensive servicing for all vehicle types — petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric. Regular servicing is essential to keep your vehicle running efficiently and to prevent costly issues down the track. We recommend servicing annually, and for your convenience, we can complete your service at the same time as your WOF.
Our approach is simple: prevention is better than cure. By maintaining your vehicle proactively, we help ensure reliability, safety, and long term performance.
Pre-Purchase Inspection
Considering buying a vehicle? EV Autos offers thorough pre purchase inspections to give you confidence before you commit. Our technicians carry out a detailed assessment, including a full diagnostic scan and a road test, to evaluate the vehicle’s overall condition.
Any visible issues, potential concerns, or upcoming maintenance needs will be clearly highlighted, helping you make an informed decision with no surprises.
State of Health (SOH) Reports
State of Health (SOH) reports provide a clear assessment of your hybrid or electric vehicle’s battery condition. These reports help you understand current battery health, expected performance, and any signs of degradation.
SOH reporting is available for a range of makes and models, including (but not limited to) Nissan Leaf, Toyota Aqua, Prius, Camry, Estima, Honda Jazz, Fit, and Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
If your vehicle is compatible, our technicians can generate a detailed report to give you confidence in your battery’s long term reliability.
Tyres
EV Autos can arrange new tyres and wheel alignments, and in most cases, we can complete this on the same day as your WOF or service for added convenience. To help maximise the lifespan of your tyres, we also recommend periodic tyre rotation.

Air Conditioning Re Gas
If your vehicle’s air conditioning isn’t delivering that crisp, ice cold airflow anymore, it may be time for a re gas. Our air conditioning specialist technician can diagnose the issue and restore your system’s performance, helping you stay cool and comfortable on the road again.
Mechanical Warranty Insurance
EV Autos works closely with a range of trusted mechanical warranty providers to ensure your repair claims are handled smoothly and efficiently. We regularly complete warranty work for Assurant, Autosure, Janssens Insurance, Vero, and Provident.
